West Paw Recognized for Leadership and Company Culture

Honorees Recognized for Outstanding Contributions to Community

In September, West Paw was recognized and awarded for its “Overall Leadership” and “Best Company Culture” in the “Top Employers” category in The Bozeman Daily Chronicle’s annual “2021 Gallatin’s Greatest Awards”.

Over 75,000 people cast their votes in 176 categories to recognize their favorite local businesses. Family-owned West Paw was thrilled to be recognized in two categories that reflect the company’s most valuable asset, their people.

“These two awards are so meaningful because they recognize our intentional focus on our people. The recognition for the incredibly talented leadership throughout the company and passion for our work is well deserved,” says Spencer Williams, CEO, and Owner, West Paw. Continues Williams “The win for our company culture is something I am particularly proud of. West Paw’s Core Values are designed to build culture through hiring teams of motivated, talented, and caring individuals who are proud to use our business as a force for good."

In 1996, Spencer Williams purchased a small soft goods pet toy company in Livingston, Montana. Under Williams’ leadership, West Paw went on to become a world-class manufacturer of eco-friendly and award-winning pet toys, beds, leashes, collars, and treats. West Paw’s pet products are sold in over 6,000 North American locations and in over 40 countries worldwide. In 2016, Forbes magazine named West Paw “One of the Best Small Companies” in America.
