In 1996, Montana-native Spencer Williams purchased a small pet toy company in Livingston, Montana. With five full-time employees and a team of home-sewers, West Paw set out to make the world's safest and highest quality dog and cat toys.
We moved to Bozeman, Montana, in 1998, where we built our permanent manufacturing facility and offices and continue to make our durable, sustainable, joy-inducing toys with an incredible team of dedicated, purpose-driven employees.
Over the past 30 years, we've innovated some of the best play, puzzle, and enrichment toys for dogs, made from infinitely recyclable and non-toxic materials, released a complete lineup of single and limited ingredient treats sourced from highly nutritious organ meats and in partnership with regenerative ranches, and maintained a lineup of unique and colorful plush toys that connect us to our origins as a sewn goods company.
We are proud to be Montana's first Benefit Corporation, the first pet product company to become a Certified B Corporation, and are a founding member of the Pet Sustainability Coalition.
