WEST PAW PARTNERS WITH HAIJI TO BRING AMERICAN-MADE
ECO-FRIENDLY PET PRODUCTS TO CHINESE CONSUMER
(Bozeman, MT, October 2017) – As part of their global expansion, U.S. Manufacturer, West Paw has partnered with Guangzhou Haiji Pet Trading Co. Ltd., owner of Chinese pet products online retailer, Epet.com, to introduce their environmentally friendly Zogoflex® dog toys to pet owners in China. West Paw’s award-winning products include Hurley®, Tux®, Jive®, Qwizl®, Toppl®, Tizzi®, and Bumi®.
Haiji is a leading distribution and sales company, providing timely training and education to retailers, as well as a wide assortment of products to enhance the lives of pets in China. According to the 2016 Chinese Pet Market White Paper, American Pet Products Association & Europe Economics, “The Chinese pet industry has experienced a compound growth rate of 49.1 percent from 2010 to 2016. In 2016, the overall volume of the pet consumer market reached 122 billion yuan (US$18.10 billion) with only 6 percent of the population owning pets and is estimated to exceed 200 billion yuan (US$29.67 billion) by 2020.
